GAMEATHON 2019 - THE STEP UP

This was the third year I had hosted the Gameathon and I knew I had to step up and make it bigger and better. I needed to recruit more players and find a bigger venue to hold the Gameathon as there was no way we could fit all 16 of us crammed in the living room! We hosted the Gameathon at the local village hall and 2019 had become by far the most successful year... so far!

With a much larger team, we were ready to start finding more people to sponsor us. The whole team did an incredible job of fundraising. We had more games and a lot more tech as well with Beatles Rock Band on the Xbox 360 being a massive hit. The atmosphere was fantastic! Many parents popped in to offer their support and we also had a visit from the local Mayor, Paul Mackin! It was a great success and we were all so proud of the amount we had managed to raise for Children In Need, a staggering £3002.83!
